Travel diary of Malaca

Malaca is located in Southwest Malaysia and is famous for the Malaca Straight.

It takes us around 30 min fr the MRT to the checkpoint of Sg, and after corssing the checkpoint, and Raffle Straight, we reach Malaysia. The first town we reach is called Johor, where the bus station is actually a hub for bus station, wet mkt and food stalls. There we try some fruits we never see b4, sth resembles Nephelium lappaceum L., and also salak etc. And the we set off our way to Malaca.

Malaca was once occupied by Portugese, Holland and UK, thus the styles of building reflect the respective characters. It's a small town with good planning. The China town, historical spots, along with the Malaca River are listed into World Cultural Heritage. Unfortunately, they keep diking that we barely reach the seaside. Seeing above the St. Paul Hill, I think the sea is really pretty with light green, even without sunlight. Malaca River is so pretty in day and at night, so quiet and primitive. It's like, the houses around hv never been changed. The most exciting thing in this trip is hanging out in the night mkt. There are a lot of vendors in the night mkt, where we see a lot of interesting accessories. Ppl of all ages fr diff counties dance on the street. It feels so nice. And there's even public KTV in the night mkt.

The only thing that bothers is it's very difficult to get the ticket fr Malaca to Sg/Johor. It seems we hv to book the return ticket whichever we go in Malaysia.
